I am so grateful you are here! It is a true privilege to have the opportunity to support you throughout this season of your life. Taking the first step toward healing, and creating a space where you and your mental health are a priority, takes a great deal of courage. I recognize it can feel daunting and vulnerable to take this leap and explore areas of your life that are painful and challenging. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy, or you have been in counseling before, I hope to empower you to find your voice throughout the healing process, as well as provide a ray of hope that life can improve.
Here at Roots of Integrity Counseling, I believe in the 3 C’s: Challenge. Choice. Change. – Challenge by Choice. Challenge creates Change. Choose the Challenge. I am dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and validated. I recognize taking a deep look inside, processing current challenges and painful past learning experiences, and identifying unhealthy patterns is vulnerable and takes courage to make the choice to challenge ourselves to move toward healthier ways of living. It is my belief we have everything inside of us that we need to heal. Sometimes, we just need support, a gentle reminder to practice self-compassion, and someone to help us utilize our strengths to move toward change.
My role is to facilitate self-exploration by encouraging and challenging you to continue to grow and process current and past experiences in an effort to be the best version of yourself, and ultimately, to live in your integrity. Growth does not happen in the comfortable; thus, I will support you in challenging yourself to lean into the uncomfortable so change can occur. I look forward to walking this journey with you.
